Scottsdale's resorts offer the best in luxury and top-flight Arizona golf

For top-rate desert golf, few U.S. destinations can compete with Scottsdale, Arizona. The Phoenix-Scottsdale area has been called the golf resort capital of the world, and indeed it has some unparalleled golf courses.

One definite must-play is Anthem Country Club. Designed by Greg Nash, this club boasts two superb golf courses, The Persimmon and The Ironwood. Both have large, undulating greens, stark elevation changes, multiple tees and formidable length. You better be accurate and have your wits about you to score well here.
